About Charleston Bilingual Academy: 

In partnership with parents, CBA exists to inspire world changers through Christ-centered, intercultural, immersion-based education. We are a Spanish-immersion and intercultural, Christ-centered Academy located in North Charleston, SC. Through a project-based approach, CBA engages children’s language geniuses and various cultures, carving characters, instilling the love of God, and equipping intellects, in an effort to inspire children to impact lives around them regardless of linguistic and cultural barriers. Each year we see God growing our school to add another grade. We are constantly reviewing applications for preschool, elementary, and middle school teachers and assistants.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Teachers have a dynamic relationship with the Triune God and are active members of a Bible-believing church.
• Teachers have a Bachelor’s degree and teacher certification (or are pursuing teacher certification). CBA can help teachers acquire ACSI certification.
• Teachers have native or near-native experience in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teachers have at least 2-3 years of experience.

As CBA continues to grow, we seek passionate teachers who love sharing the message of Jesus with their students and enjoy engaging with diverse cultures. This position requires the ability to lead a classroom with a diverse student body, including students for whom English is not their first language.
