Description

Salem Christian School is looking for a teacher who loves the Lord and loves science.  The primary grades taught are 9-12th and supporting the expansion of STEM across all grade levels.   This position is available beginning August 2026.  All applicants must be residents of the United States.  

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor degree from an accredited US college or university

Teaching certificate with emphasis in teaching high school science preferred but not required

Must agree with the statement of faith of Salem Christian School

Must have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and able to articulate a biblical worldview within science

Experience teaching high school students is highly beneficial

Experience teaching various levels of science is necessary - biology, chemistry, forensic, physics, anatomy - these subjects rotate from year to year and are not all taught every year.  There would also be opportunity to oversee dual-enrollment classes offer through Cedarville University.
