Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and execute a strategic vision for the Athletic Department, After School Activities
Program, and Summer Camps that directly aligns with the school's mission, values, and guiding
statements.
Recruit, hire, support, and evaluate all program personnel across all grade levels and activities,
including school sports coaches, internal and external After School Activity (ASA) instructors,
and summer camp staff.
Serve as a coach for sports teams across various age groups and sports disciplines as needed
throughout the school year.
Formulate comprehensive seasonal schedules for all sports teams, including friendly matches,
local tournaments, league competitions, and international conference events.
Act as the primary school representative and liaison for local sports leagues and international
athletic conferences.
Oversee all operations for home games and hosted tournaments. Manage logistics for away
games, including domestic and international student travel.
Plan, coordinate, and execute marquee athletic events, including Homecoming Basketball
Games, Senior Day games, OIS Community Games, and the annual Sports Banquet.
Supervise the design, procurement, and inventory control of all team uniforms and athletic
equipment.
Collaborate with the administration on the long-term strategic plan for sports facilities
maintenance and development.
Direct and manage the annual Athletics and Extracurriculars budgets.
Directs all Athletics and Activities Policy and Procedural Review.
Partner with the parent organization to drive fundraising initiatives for the sports program and
special projects.
Member of the Eagle Team (second-level leadership group).
Any other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
