Purpose of Position
- Teaching Bible classes to high school students.
- Responsible for chapel and staff devotions.
- Must be willing to offer counseling.

Personal Qualifications
- A believer who is deeply committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ, including personal devotions and prayer.
- Show the joy of the Christian life.
- Follow the Matthew 18 Principle in dealing with students, athletes, coaches, faculty, parents and administration.
- Motivate students to accept God's gift of salvation and to grow in their faith.
- Recognize the role of parents as primarily responsible before God for their children's education and be prepared to assist them in that task.
- Respectfully submit and be loyal to constituted authority. Shall notify the administration of any policy he/she is unable to support.
- Maintain a professional appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste, and in agreement with school policy. In general, maintain a life that is suitable to the role of Bible teacher as the representative of Victory Christian Schools to VCS families and the general public.
Professional and Education Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A minimum of 3 years experience in vocational ministry
- Strong, proactive leadership and teaching skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to properly manage the classroom and students.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Biblical curriculum, teaching methodologies, and structures.
- Ability to present and teach Biblical subjects in such a way as to make the study of God and His Word interesting and engaging for students.
- Maintain a willingness and ability to pastorally come alongside students needing advice, counseling, and encouragement in their walk of faith.
- Create, plan, and implement an appropriate Bible curriculum as needed.
- Manage time effectively between class lesson preparation, assignment grading, and other duties.
- Develop an intimate familiarity with the school's doctrinal positions and statement of faith.
- Ability to teach according to the school's statement of faith while at the same time make every effort not to alienate students who worship at the wide range of churches represented at the school.
Faith and Personal Testimony: We are a Christian school, and we desire to nurture the students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The strongest applicants will have an active Christian faith. Those who demonstrate through their Statement of Faith/Testimony paragraph an understanding of how their faith and life connect will be strongly considered for an interview.
Compensation Package
- The Bible Teacher is a 10-month contracted position
- Salary: Part-Time starts at $25K / year Depending On Experience Full-time is up to $55K /year Depending on Experience
- Tuition discount for children of VCS employees (percentage varies based on PT/FT status)

- 403 B eligible with a 2% match after one year of service
