Salvation Christian Academy (SCA) is seeking qualified Christian educators to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. SCA is a private K4–10th grade Christian school whose mission is to provide Christian parents and their students with a quality, Christ-centered education that is biblically, spiritually, physically, socially, and academically sound. We seek to teach God’s truth through a biblical worldview and prepare students to pursue their God-given calling while making spiritual, moral, and life decisions based upon biblical principles.
Current Openings
Secondary Bible & Physical Education Teacher (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
Teach Bible classes for grades 6–8.
Teach Physical Education classes for grades 6–10.
Integrate a biblical worldview into all instruction.
Participate in chapel services, student discipleship opportunities, and school activities.
Assist with supervision, tutoring, and other duties as assigned.
Collaborate with the secondary teaching team.
Qualifications:
Born-again Christian with active involvement in an evangelical church.
Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Teaching certification, ACSI certification, ACTS certification, or equivalent preferred.
Teaching experience and Christian school experience preferred, but not required.
New teachers are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with modern instructional methods and educational technology.
Preferred Characteristics:
Passion for discipling young people.
Ability to connect with middle school students.
Strong classroom management skills.
Experience teaching Bible.
Ability to teach from a biblical worldview.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in cross-cultural settings.
Coaching experience welcomed but not required.
Elementary Teacher (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
Serve as a homeroom teacher in grades 1–5, based on school needs.
Teach core elementary subjects including Bible, reading, phonics, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Integrate biblical truth throughout instruction.
Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment.
Work closely with fellow teachers, administration, and parents to support student growth and development.
Qualifications:
Born-again Christian with active involvement in an evangelical church.
Agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates currently pursuing a degree or with alternative educational backgrounds will also be considered.
Teaching certification, ACSI certification, ACTS certification, or equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience teaching in elementary education preferred but not required.
New teachers are encouraged to apply.
