Description

The College Advisor must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to help guide students in their college preparation and application process. The ideal candidate will be energetic, thoughtful and organized, working effectively with the students, parents, families, faculty, staff, and college representatives to contribute to a purposeful, Christ-centered, and dynamic fulfillment of TKA’s mission statement.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and acceptance without reservation of the TKA Statement of Faith & Employee Role Model Standard, both off and on campus.
Master’s degree required.
A minimum of five to ten years of experience.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Finalsite) as well as Scoir, x2VOL, and FACTS.
Dynamic personality that demonstrates passion and excitement for the school.
Have a strong knowledge of colleges, their academic programs, and admission requirements.
Experience advising a diverse range of students, including fine/performing arts, STEM, athletes, and international students
