We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will possess a heart for Christian education, a commitment to academic excellence, and a desire to invest in the lives of students both inside and outside the classroom.
Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and academically challenging classroom environment that supports students' intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and biblical principles.
Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages learning, respect, and personal growth.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievement and classroom activities.
Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative tasks.
Collaborate with faculty, administration, and families to support student success.
Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
Model Christian character and integrate faith into daily instruction.
Requirements
Qualifications
Required:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school's statement of faith.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
Preferred:
Pennsylvania teaching certification.
Prior elementary teaching experience.
Experience in a Christian school setting.
