Description

Texoma Christian School is seeking a full-time highly qualified elementary teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.  Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and at least 2 years of elementary classroom teaching experience is preferred. 

We are looking for teachers who have:

            a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

            a calling and passion for Christian education

            a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from an accredited institution

            a minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred

            ACSI certification (if not, may apply when hired)

            Effective instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment of students.

Implement student-centered, inquiry-based, and hands-on approaches to learning.

            Effective instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment of students.

            Preparation of daily lesson plans for implementation of the curriculum.

            Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning for all students.

            Technology integration in lesson plans/assignments.

            Exhibit a personality that demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to relate well with students, parents, and colleagues.

            Create a positive climate where students not only excel academically but also develop spiritually.
