Description

Abundant Life Christian School is hiring an upper elementary classroom teacher. Candidates must hold a bachelors degree and have experience in the classroom. Candidates must adhere to the ALCS statement of faith. Candidates should be excellent at working together with their peers, have good work ethics, attendance, classroom management skills and a personal dedication to engaging students in learning and an overall love of learning. 

Requirements

The position requires knowledge of all subject matters since this is a self-contained classroom assignment. Teachers must be willing to create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and develop lesson plans that inspire children to be creative, engaged, connected, and excited to come to school. Good communication skills are a must and positive communication with parents is on-going. Preparation for daily lessons is evidenced by lesson plans as well as the rigor in the classroom.
