Forest Lake Christian School (FLCS) is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Lower Elementary Teachers to join our Christ-centered learning community. Position Overview
Lower Elementary Teachers play a vital role in creating classrooms where students are known, challenged, encouraged, and inspired.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Create a nurturing, organized, and positive classroom culture
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview into daily instruction
- Assess student learning and maintain accurate academic records
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth and classroom activities
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to strengthen school programs
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Teaching credential preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Elementary teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Personal commitment to the Christian faith and Christian education

About Our School
Forest Lake Christian School is an independent, coeducational Preschool–12th grade school serving families on two beautiful campuses located approximately two miles apart. Our elementary campus serves Preschool–Grade 5, while our secondary campus serves middle and high school students. Students enjoy spacious classrooms, playgrounds, athletic fields, gymnasiums, dining spaces, and a vibrant learning environment designed to foster growth and excellence.
