Description

An experienced English teacher is required to Middle and High School students. Candidates should demonstrate a working knowledge of the pedagogy for teaching English to ELL students and be up to date with modern teaching methods. Our school follows the UK curriculum. Experience teaching IGCSE courses is preferred but not essential.

The English curriculum forms the foundation of everything else taught in our school. Teachers must be comfortable teaching all the fundamental skills of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and must demonstrate a firm grasp of English grammar. They are also expected to manage student portfolios and to carry out 1-to-1 sessions with students to accurately track student progress. English classes are typically smaller than classes in other subjects to allow more individual attention to be given.  

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher 

At least 2 years teaching experience

Holds a teaching license or TESOL/CELTA
