Description

Teaching Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a combination of the following courses based upon experience and scheduling needs:

Algebra I
Geometry
Algebra II
Pre-Calculus
7th grade Math 
8th grade Math 

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:
Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview into daily instruction and classroom interactions.
Develop engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with North Carolina state standards and the mission of Community Baptist Schools.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
Assess student learning through formal and informal evaluations while providing timely, constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate and current student records, including weekly grade updates using the school's online grading platform.
Establish and maintain a classroom culture characterized by respect, integrity, academic excellence, and Christ-like character.
Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, faculty, and administration.
Collaborate with fellow faculty members to strengthen curriculum and student success.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school activities, chapel services, athletic events, and other community events as appropriate.
Pray regularly with and for students while encouraging their spiritual growth.
Model Christian leadership, servant-heartedness, and biblical principles both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following:

A clear personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
A demonstrated commitment to living a Christ-centered lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.
Active membership and faithful attendance in an evangelical Christian church.
A genuine love for students and a calling to Christian education.
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Current ACSI Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with educational technology and online grading platforms.
The ability to inspire students while maintaining high academic expectations.
