Description

The junior and high school mathematics teacher will:

• teach the following subjects: Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II
• integrate the use of technology into lessons
• assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• present chapel lessons to junior high and/or high school students
• attend regularly scheduled meetings
• work collaboratively with the other junior and high school teachers
• communicate with students, parents, co-teachers, and administrators regarding students’ academic progress and behaviors.

Requirements

Sonrise Christian School 7th through 10th grade teachers will have the following qualifications: 

• a BA or graduate degree in Education
• experience teaching elementary or junior high students
• junior high and high school teachers will have a teaching credential, graduate degree or extensive graduate work in the field of specific subject they will teach
• a desire to be part of a collaborative team
