Description

The Secondary School Art Teacher teaches Art 1-4 (credit bearing), Ceramics 1 and 2, and 8th Art Rotation.  It is a six bell schedule in which the advanced levels of art will be scheduled together.  Ceramics includes the creation of pottery and sculpture.  The art room is equipped with running water and sinks, supplies, two pottery wheels and a kiln.  

Requirements

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ made evident in personal speech, behavior, and interaction with students; Bachelor's degree (preferably in art or art education); knowledge of a variety of artistic mediums including ceramics; a strong desire to grow student talent and exhibit student art; strong believer in teamwork and willing to serve the school community at large.
