Friendship Christian School is a leader in Christian education in the Greater Atlanta Area (Suwanee, GA). FCS has seen impressive growth since its inception. Offering excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, and athletics programs for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth grade all within a Christian environment distinguishes FCS. Friendship Christian School is a non-denominational school and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. This position will include but is not limited to teaching AP Physical Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
Requirements
- Applying teachers must have a BA or BS in Science from a state-recognized college or university.
- They must be able to be Georgia State Certified and/or ACSI certified OR currently hold a certification.
- They must be a Christian teacher and active in their church.
- Their pastor will be required to send in a reference form.
- They must fill out the FCS application and pass the background check.
- All contracted yearly teachers are required to send their children to FCS. The only exception we give is IEP students with IEP needs that are not offered at FCS.
General Responsibilities:
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong relationship with Christ and be an example to the students
- Demonstrate familiarity in modern technology
- Work with students where English is not their first language
- Embrace our Christ-centered mission
- Promote Biblical and Christian world view in teachings and everyday life
- Work closely and with colleagues and administration
