Description

The qualified individual must be an evangelical Christian committed to living a Biblical lifestyle. He/she is expected to demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing his or her day to day duties. He/she must be devoted to prayerfully work with administration, faculty, students and parents to develop and maintain a school which is thoroughly Christian and academically superb.  All Secondary teaching staff is directly responsible to the Assistant Principal/Dean of Curriculum and Supervision.

Requirements

 1. Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

 2.  Current ACSI and or state teaching certificate in secondary subject area preferred.

 3. Two or more years of classroom teaching experience in subject area preferred.

4.  Must have computer skills to employ computer programs to post grades and communicate with parents.  

5.  Must also have a willingness and ability to assist in total school programs and extra curricular activities.

6.  Maintain clear, open and professional communication with parents.

7.  To work with administration to keep parents adequately informed of student discipline.

8.  Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curriculums from a Biblical worldview.
