Description
Job Summary
Bradshaw Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong mathematical skills, think critically, and apply biblical principles to learning and life. This position involves teaching a variety of high school math courses, fostering a positive classroom environment, and partnering with families to support student growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach high school mathematics courses using engaging and effective instructional practices.
Create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate grade records.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school initiatives.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Integrate faith and biblical principles into teaching and relationships with students.
Requirements
BA Required
Master’s Degree Preferred
Teaching Credential
