- Middle School Math & Science Teacher
Description
The Christian School of Grace Baptist Church is seeking a full-time middle school math & science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to teach and disciple students in a Christ-centered environment while providing a strong academic foundation in mathematics and science.
Applicants should be committed to preparing children to serve God in this life and the next, through teaching God’s Word and its application in all areas of life. This includes delivering well-prepared and engaging lessons to middle school students in various content areas. The teacher will be asked to participate in staff devotions, cover various duties, and assist with other elements of maintaining the student life and culture.
The school is structured in a traditional classroom format with grades Pre-K through fourth being self-contained. Students in grades five through eight have a mixture of combined and stand-alone classes. Projected class sizes range from twelve to 14 students with a total projected enrollment of 125 students.
Qualified candidates must have current teaching credentials along with all requisite clearances for educators working with children in PA. Teachers at The Christian School of Grace Baptist Church are required to be members of a Bible-believing church and must support Grace Baptist Church’s statement of faith (see www.gracebaptistcarlisle.org). Since teachers are employed to communicate the values of scripture contained in that statement to all areas of life and study, each must have a robust understanding of and commitment to further study of God’s Word.
Interested candidates should submit a résumé to [email protected]. After receipt of the application, an interview may be scheduled. The final hiring decision will be made upon the completion of an interview with the headmaster and final approval by the School Board of Directors.
Questions and inquiries are welcome via phone, email, or an appointment to discuss the position with the headmaster.
