Description

Southside Christian School is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered Middle School Music Teacher for grades 6th–8th to inspire students in both music education and worship leadership. Responsibilities include teaching foundational music theory and performance, preparing students for one to two middle school performances each year, and leading the Middle School Praise Team, including weekly chapel worship. Candidates should have a blended/modern style of worship leadership and a heart for discipling students through music. Strong piano skills are strongly preferred.

Southside Christian School is a discipleship school that hires Christian teachers and enrolls students whose parents have provided a letter of reference from a church of like-faith. We currently have over 100 local churches represented in the student body.

In addition to teaching, we are seeking teachers with a heart to invest in the lives of students. Our mission is to impact the next generation for Christ by developing intellectual leaders who are developing a Biblical worldview.
