Lebanon Christian School Middle/High School is seeking a fulltime Middle School Math
Teacher (grades 6–9 or 7–12) for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate is a dynamic,
personable, and engaging educator who builds strong relationships with students, families, and
colleagues and partners with parents in Lebanon Christian Schools’ mission to provide a
Christcentered education through a biblical worldview. The successful candidate will foster the
spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of each student while helping them develop
strong mathematical reasoning, problem solving skills, and confidence in learning. The teacher
will use the primarily BJU Press (BJUP) math curriculum as the core instructional resource for
all assigned courses.

serve with integrity in their church, school, community, and future careers. The Math Teacher
will help students see mathematics as a way to think critically, make wise decisions, and serve
others faithfully, in alignment with the school’s mission and values of Christcentered living,
academic excellence, servant leadership, and faithful service, while effectively implementing
the BJUP curriculum in instruction, assessment, and classroom practice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Valid Ohio teaching license (Adolescence to Young Adult [7–12] or Middle Childhood
[4–9]), with a concentration in Mathematics or a related field
Experience teaching adolescents in a secondary setting preferred
Two to three years of teaching experience preferred
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Willingness to learn and integrate new technologies and instructional tools
Ability to make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment
Successful completion of BCI and FBI background checks
Alternative qualifications may be considered by the Principal or Head of School
