Description

We are a small, rural Christian school located 30 minutes south of Liberty University. We offer small class sizes, with quality education with a solid Biblical worldview. We are a fully accredited ACSI school and operate on a 4 block schedule for the year.  Salary listed is for a full time position. We are looking for a teacher who is familiar with IEW - Institute for Excellence in Writing program or one who is willing to learn and implement this program with our high school students.

Requirements

Born again, follower of Jesus Christ who seeks to implement a Biblical worldview through the instruction of English and Literature.

Must have a bachelor's degree in English.

Certification preferred and/or willingness to pursue certification.

Familiar with various technology options for use in the classroom - interactive boards, tablets, etc. 

Able to relate well to teenagers, and engage them in the content.

Able to integrate biblical truth and principles into the lessons.

Able to teach both middle school and high school students.
