Part-Time Music Teacher (2026–2027 School Year)
Pine Harbor Christian Academy | Approximately 12 Hours/Week

Pine Harbor Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time position works with Kindergarten through 8th grade students and offers the opportunity to inspire a love for music while supporting students’ spiritual and personal growth in a Christian school environment.

PHCA is a growing Christian academy located in a beautiful wooded setting near Hastings and Cottage Grove. We are committed to strong academics, Biblical values, leadership development, and building meaningful relationships with students and families.

Current Schedule:
Tuesdays
9:15 AM – 2:15 PM | K–6 Music Classes

Wednesdays
12:40 PM – 2:15 PM | 7th/8th Grade Music Classes

Thursdays
9:15 AM – 1:30 PM | K–4 Music Classes

Requirements

Qualifications:

Passion for Christian education and the spiritual development of children

Ability to represent the mission, beliefs, and values of Pine Harbor Christian Academy and the Harbor Church

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field preferred

Experience teaching music to children 

Knowledge of standards-based music curriculum and student assessment tools preferred

Experience designing and implementing engaging music curriculum preferred
