Position: University Model Self-Contained Elementary Teacher
Status: Part-Time
Faith Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated part-time self-contained elementary teacher to support the university-model segment of our campus. This role is ideal for an experienced elementary educator who values strong family partnerships, academic excellence, and intentional faith integration.
This teacher will provide high-quality, faith-centered instruction in a University-Model elementary classroom that combines on-campus teaching with parent-led learning at home. The teacher is responsible for delivering direct instruction on campus while equipping and supporting families to reinforce and continue learning during remote days.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across core elementary subjects for 2 combined grades at a time (e.g. K/1st; 2nd/3rd; 4th/5th) during on-campus instructional days
Maintain a self-contained classroom that supports students’ academic, social, spiritual, and emotional development
Design lessons, assignments, and learning plans that support effective parent-led instruction on remote learning days
Integrate faith, biblical values, and character development into instruction, classroom culture, and communication with families
Collaborate with other faculty to support consistent academic standards
Communicate clear expectations, instructional guidance, and feedback to parents to support at-home learning
Assess student progress and adjust instruction based on data and observations from both on-campus and remote learning
Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and student documentation
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as appropriate for a part-time role
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with Teacher Certification
Minimum of 5 years successful elementary teaching experience preferred
Strong instructional, classroom management, and communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to faith-based education and alignment with the school’s mission and Philosophy statement
