- PE Teacher (K-8)
Description
We are seeking a part-time PE teacher for grades K-8. The role of the PE teacher is to develop in each pupil an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise; to motivate each pupil to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment; to discover and develop talents of pupils in physical achievement; and to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each pupil’s ability. The PE teacher is also responsible for instructing and assessing students, managing class behaviors, supporting students socially and emotionally, collaborating with other school team members, communicating with parents, and helping with various school events and functions. This teaching position begin on August 24, 2026. This is a part-time/hourly position 25-30 hours/week.
Requirements
Part-time PE position: Bachelor's degree required; some teaching experience preferred Candidates must be CPR/First-Aid certified within 60 days of employment. All applicants will be required to complete a written application before interviewing.
