Role Description
Lighthouse Primary and Secondary School is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Lead to join our team. The People and Talent Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting and ensuring the smooth operation of various Human Resource functions.

Key Responsibilities
Recruits, helps with interviews, hires, and works collaboratively to onboard new staff. 
Provides a framework for constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Works collaboratively to offboard departing staff. 
Monitors and collaborates with other organizational leaders and advisors to ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Requirements

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in the field.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field is required.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the school and staff.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
