Description

We have a need which may involve a combination of roles. The core of our need is for a school maintenance person. We have covered this need with independent contractors for some years, but feel that a person who works directly for the school, primarily in this role, would be a good step forward. As director of maintenance, this person would be responsible for light maintenance needs that come up: light electrical, light plumbing, painting, and various other repairs that are needed on our campus or at school housing. Larger projects may be planned either with additional help or, if necessary, given to contractors on island. 

Although we are looking for someone who can be our go-to maintenance person, this isn't a full-time need for our small school at this time (though it could grow into a full-time role). Therefore, we would like someone with the ability to contribute in one or more other ways. Other needs at KCA include help with tech (networking, sound for stage productions, etc.), the teaching of mathematics on the secondary (grades 7-12) level, and athletics.

Requirements

Experience with a wide variety of facility maintenance in a professional capacity. 

Interest/experience in technology and/or athletics and/or mathematics teaching.
