We are looking for a passionate, kingdom-focused English Language Arts teacher to join our secondary team in the beautiful Andes mountains of Ecuador!

Position Purpose / Description: The teacher contributes to the fulfillment of the Academy’s Ends and Mission as the primary agent involved in the schooling experience of AAI students.  As a professional educator and committee Christian mentor, the teacher impacts the intellectual, social, and spiritual development of students.  Through interaction with parents, the teacher also has the opportunity to serve and minister professionally, and spiritually. 

Requirements

Minimum educational background/degree: BA/BS in Secondary English Education and current teacher certification or ability to obtain certification.

Minimum job-related experience: Student teaching and/or at least one year of full-time classroom teaching

English and or Spanish proficiency level: Native English proficiency (C2) required
