Description
Candidates must be a member in good standing of a Bible believing church in agreement with the doctrinal statement of Temple Christian School and lead a mature Christian life. Candidates must possess and model a personal authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Secondary teachers must have at least a bachelor’s degree with twenty-four (24) semester hours, or appropriate certification in the subject matter being taught. (However, degreed teachers with twelve semester hours in a subject may teach if the time assigned is less than one-half the teaching load.) Teachers who meet the 24 semester hour subject requirement but do not currently hold certification must be willing to become certified. Certification can come through a private organization, as well as state. Teachers of credit bearing Bible and/or religion classes should hold a bachelors degree, but may waive the 24/12 hour subject matter requirement.
