Position Overview

AIS is seeking a qualified Secondary Science Teacher to join our team. Specialization is open (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Integrated Science). Ability to teach upper-level secondary science courses preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured, inquiry-based science instruction
Prepare students for AP and/or IB coursework (preferred)
Maintain safe laboratory procedures and clear systems of accountability
Use assessment data to guide student intervention and enrichment
Collaborate within the department for curriculum alignment

Requirements

Qualifications

*Degree in Science or related field
*Secondary teaching certification
*Experience teaching advanced secondary science preferred
*Strong organizational and laboratory management skills
*Mature Christian faith aligned with AIS’s mission
