Description

We are looking for two Social Studies teachers to cover a range of subjects including, Middle School Western Civ or Non-Western Civ, High School Geography, World History, and Upper-Level electives such as African Studies, US History, Economics or an AP History course. While much of our curriculum is American, our teachers strive to include an international perspective and value the input of students from a variety of countries and backgrounds. Teachers also help students look at history and the world from a biblical perspective seeking to use what they learn to serve God better in modern society.

Requirements

– Be in possession of an undergraduate degree (minimum) in your subject of expertise

– Join a mission-sending organization (i.e. Teach Beyond, SIL/Wycliffe Bible Translators or any partner mission – we can help you with this process)

– Be able to relocate to Yaoundé, Cameroon

– Have experience in 7-12th grade classrooms

-Strive to integrate a biblical worldview into each lesson.
