Requirements

• A love for God, for children, a strong Christian character, and a commitment to biblical values
• Proven classroom experience working with children from diverse backgrounds in K-5 settings
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with learning technology tools, such as IXL
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for students requiring individualized instruction
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and assessment techniques to monitor academic progress
• Demonstrated commitment to creating a classroom that supports children’s emotional and social well-being
• Private Christian school experience is a plus, but not required
