Description

First Years Preschool is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Preschool Teacher to lead a nurturing and engaging classroom where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Schedule:

Hours: 8:30 AM–1:30 PM (10-month school year)
Days: Vary, depending on positions available at the time of hiring
Responsibilities:

Plan and lead age-appropriate, faith-based lessons.
Foster a love of learning while supporting each child's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
Create a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with parents.
Maintain an organized classroom and implement positive behavior management strategies.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to support the mission of First Years Preschool.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Committed Christian who serves as a positive role model.
Bachelor's degree (Early Childhood Education preferred) or relevant experience working with young children.
Experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Willingness to complete all required Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) training and background screening.
