North Henry Academy serves students from K3 through twelfth grade in a caring, Christ-filled atmosphere. NHA has a thirty-year history of excellence partnering with parents to provide and excellent, quality, Christ-centered education in northern Henry County, Georgia, and is currently seeking an Upper School Math Teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus and a love for children
• Actively attending and serving in an Evangelical Church
• Adherence to a Christian lifestyle
• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or similar field of study from an accredited college or university
• Georgia or ACSI certification, or willingness to pursue it
• The ability to plan, organize, and deliver instruction in foundational subject matter
• The ability to manage the classroom environment to maximize learning
• Willingness to pray with and for students

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans that align with the mission and vision of the Academy
• Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
• Utilize different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
• Provide guidance and support to students in their social-emotional development
• Foster a love of Christ through engaging and interactive lessons
