Description

First Years Preschool is seeking a caring and dedicated VPK Teacher to lead a class of 4-year-olds in a nurturing, engaging classroom where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Schedule:

Hours: 8:30 AM–1:30 PM (10-month school year)
Days: Monday–Thursday, with the possibility of Friday

Responsibilities:

Lead a VPK classroom of 4-year-old students.
Foster academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered environment.
Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Communicate effectively with families and staff.
Maintain positive classroom management and follow preschool policies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Committed Christian who serves as a positive role model.
Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, or a current CDA/FCCPC credential.
Experience working with young children.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Completion of the required VPK Instructor Emergent Literacy courses by July 1.
