River Valley Christian School (RVC), launching in fall 2026 in Elgin, Illinois, represents a dynamic new chapter in Christian education, serving families across the greater Elgin and Fox Valley region. As a preschool through grade 12 institution, RVC offers a comprehensive Bible-based educational experience designed to nurture the whole student spiritually, academically, and relationally. Students benefit from strong academics taught through a biblical worldview, along with opportunities in athletics, fine arts, leadership development, and service. Every aspect of the student experience is intentionally crafted to cultivate growth in both knowledge and Christlike character.

River Valley Christian School is the result of the coming together of two well-established and respected Christian schools: Harvest Christian Academy and Westminster Christian School. For decades, both institutions faithfully served their communities with a dedication to Christ-centered education, academic rigor, and spiritual formation. With a shared mission and vision, River Valley Christian School builds upon this rich legacy to create a stronger, future-focused educational community prepared to serve the next generation.

At the heart of River Valley Christian School is a commitment to biblical truth and academic excellence. We believe education is discipleship and that truth is rooted in Scripture. Our goal is to raise students who are grounded in truth, growing in Christ, and equipped to impact the world. Faculty and staff view their roles as a calling, integrating faith and learning while investing in the spiritual and academic development of each student. Teaching at RVC goes beyond instruction to intentional discipleship, shaping both the mind and the heart.
