The High School Science Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, Christ-centered instruction that nurtures students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. This role requires developing and implementing lessons aligned with academic standards and biblical principles while fostering a safe, engaging, and spiritually encouraging learning environment. Teachers at RVCS actively model Christian character, collaborate with colleagues, and partner with families to cultivate a thriving, faith-filled educational community.
Scope of Role
The High School Science Teacher is a key contributor to students’ academic and spiritual formation. This role involves instructional leadership, classroom management, curriculum implementation, and active participation in the spiritual life of the school. All roles at RVCS embody our mission and staff values in every interaction, shaping a Christ-centered culture where students can grow in knowledge, faith, and character.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Current ACSI certification. Candidates must be eligible for and willing to pursue ACSI certification within 6 months if not currently credentialed.
- Valid teaching certification/license for the applicable grade level or subject area (preferred). Experience in a Christian school or integrating faith into instruction (preferred)
